An affront to Democracy

The Himalayan Politics

The book is based on factual events that occurred during elections between the years 1999 and 2022 in the UK’s major Cities. Some local elections led to massive fraud, and stealing of people’s mandate, reminiscent of a banana republic. The victims took the matter to courts, and special commissioners were appointed to investigate the fraud. A few elections, after a thorough investigation, were declared void and new ones ordered.

The author was born in Kashmir and came to the UK when he was just 13.

The state of Jammu and Kashmir borders the Himalayas, China, India, and Pakistan. It is a disputed territory. India occupies two-thirds of it, and Pakistan occupies one-third. The majority of Kashmiris want freedom from both occupiers through the right of self-determination. Freedom is an inalienable right of everyone.
